For the history 20th anniversary of Opera at Jimbour, the grand dame of Western Downs once again opened her doors to visitors from far and wide, who enjoyed a program of intimate opera and chamber music performances scattered throughout the house and grounds. Visitors were able to camp on the grounds and spend the weekend savoring local produce, browsing crafts by local artisans at the Jimbour Markets and enjoy meals under the stars at the communal campfire.
The series of concerts around the historic Jimbour homestead provided locals an opportunity to experience opera up close and personal with acclaimed musicians from Opera Queensland and Ensemble Q with the Queensland Conservatorium Orchestra.
