Escape the Noise & Embrace the Sound
Returning for a second year, The Long Sunset descended upon the picturesque hinterland escape of Elysian Fields, Canungra.
#The Scenic Rim Recap 2023
The Long Sunset kicked off on Friday 28 April. Campers arrived at Elysian Fields were treated to the Campfire Sessions - an intimate acoustic set featuring local favourites Laura Frank, The Inadequates and Seasoning. As the sun rose on a glorious autumn Queensland Saturday, thousands of visitors arrived to browse the wares of six local artisans at the Artisan Alley Marketplace, and sample a range of food and beverage options from 13 food vendors and wineries showcasing the abundance of the Scenic Rim

As the sun descended behind the mountain, the Wangiberra Dancers signaled the start of the mainstage lineup of outstanding contemporary music, heroing First Nations and Queensland musicians. A diverse array of pop artists including Hatchie, bella mor, Tia Gostelow, Sycco, Peach Fur, and Winston Surfshirt got the crowd moving before the award-winning pop-rock outfit Lime Cordiale took to the stay, with the evening winding up with DJ Luke Brazier.
